Between 2011 and 2016, Converse South Africa made bold moves in the experiential scene, and our pioneering spirit made us the perfect partner for creating larger-than-life concepts. From mega street parties to mini carnivals in city squares for 5,000 people, we believe in journeying with brands that become like family.
One highlight of our collaboration was #sneakerswould—a secret party in a hidden location featuring a top-secret international act. Beanstalk found and curated a venue within a working shipping container storage facility, handled talent booking, and designed the consumer engagement touchpoints, branding, and photo opportunities. We also meticulously planned the logistics to safely transport 3,000 guests by bus to and from the secret location. The event featured unique elements like bedroom fight scenes in containers, doodle walls, swings, and much more.
